I am a father of three and a below-the-knee amputee. I have partied at the Playboy Mansion with Adam Sandler and ended up alone in a mold-infested trailer on the banks of a river not sure I wanted to see morning. I have a master's degree in counseling. None of that saved me. What saved me was one honest conversation with one person who reminded me that everybody loves a comeback story.
